ABEC rating chart: ABEC 1, 3, 5, 7 & 9
ABEC is a tolerance classification for ball bearings. Higher standard class numbers indicate tighter specified tolerance limits, not a universal rating of durability or speed.

What to check
The standard series
The conventional ABEC classes are 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. For the radial ball bearing mapping used here: Normal corresponds to 1, P6 to 3, P5 to 5, P4 to 7 and P2 to 9.
What the rating does not state
It does not specify seals, lubrication, internal clearance, material, load capacity, impact resistance or a maximum operating speed. Read those attributes separately.
Evidence in this catalogue
A standard-derived equivalent is explicitly labelled; it is not presented as an ABEC number printed by the manufacturer. No class is assigned from appearance, brand or price.
