Thin-section & thin-wall bearing selection
A small cross section is a design characteristic, not a statement that every thin bearing is interchangeable.

What to check
Define the section and arrangement
Compare radial section, axial width, ring support and whether the design is deep groove, angular contact or four-point contact.
Include housing rigidity
A thin ring can follow mounting distortion. Assembly support, clamping and running accuracy belong in the selection requirements.
Compare actual drawings
A shared outside diameter can hide a different bore or width. Use all dimensions and the exact suffix before considering a replacement.
