Keep the evidence with the model shortlist
The models on this page illustrate bearing roles; they are not confirmed replacements for an unspecified machine. Keep the original complete marking, machine position, load and speed duty, temperature, lubricant and mounting arrangement together. Check the candidate's recorded values below and leave unreported parameters unknown.

What matters in this application
Operating envelope
Include the normal duty point, start-up and off-design operation when determining radial force and thrust direction.
Bearing arrangement
Identify which bearing locates the shaft and how reverse thrust is resisted. A single angular-contact bearing is not bidirectional thrust support.
Lubrication and sealing
Identify grease or oil supply, housing drainage and possible process-fluid ingress; an integral bearing seal does not replace the pump's mechanical seal.
Which bearing structures make sense?
Deep groove ball bearings
Investigate for radial support with axial demand within the bearing's permitted range.
Check first: Do not select by radial rating alone when impeller thrust is significant.
Angular-contact bearing pairs
Consider for defined combined loads and controlled axial location.
Check first: Match contact angle, pairing arrangement, preload/endplay and the manufacturer's set requirements.
Cylindrical radial support
Consider as part of a separate radial/thrust arrangement.
Check first: The thrust bearing and the floating path still need explicit design.
Recommended starting points
These candidates illustrate specific roles and envelopes, not a ranked list or interchangeable set. Review each condition before using a model in a design.
6205
25×52×15 mm25 mm shaft · radial-support reference
A compact reference for a small pump's rolling-bearing support when its calculated combined loading is acceptable.
- Dynamic C
- 14.8 kN
- Static C₀
- 7.8 kN
- Limiting speed
- 18000 rpm
Before selectionConfirm axial capacity, lubrication method and how process liquid is excluded.

30×72×19 mm30 mm shaft · larger radial envelope
A 30 mm-bore candidate for an arrangement requiring more radial capacity than a smaller envelope can provide.
- Dynamic C
- 30.5 kN
- Static C₀
- 16.2 kN
- Limiting speed
- 13700 rpm
Before selectionThe housing and load calculation must suit this specific 72 mm outside diameter.
Open complete model data7206 ACCBM
30×62×16 mm30 mm shaft · angular-contact candidate
Provides a real 25-degree angular-contact record for evaluating a combined-load locating arrangement.
- Dynamic C
- 27.5 kN
- Static C₀
- 17.3 kN
- Limiting speed
- 22000 rpm
Before selectionConfirm exact suffix, pair compatibility and allowable axial load; one bearing alone only supports axial load in one direction.

30×72×19 mm30 mm shaft · alternative angular-contact envelope
A larger-envelope angular-contact candidate for a separately calculated pump bearing arrangement.
- Dynamic C
- 36.6 kN
- Static C₀
- 19 kN
- Limiting speed
- 6900 rpm
Before selectionVerify the maker's contact-angle and pairing specification. This is not a same-size replacement for 7206.

Work through the selection
- Record pump speed, fluid conditions, impeller geometry and the full range of expected hydraulic loads.
- Resolve radial reactions and axial thrust at each support, including reverse thrust where applicable.
- Choose the locating arrangement and calculate life, static safety and bearing-pair setting.
- Review oil level or grease supply, seals, alignment and commissioning temperature before service.
Symptoms worth checking
Axial movement or seal distress
Review thrust direction, bearing arrangement, axial retention and pair setting.
Rust or milky lubricant
Investigate water/process-fluid entry and housing sealing rather than treating a bearing shield as a fluid barrier.
Vibration away from the duty point
Check hydraulic conditions, cavitation, alignment and support loads before assuming a bearing-size problem.
Symptoms are investigation prompts, not a diagnosis. Isolate equipment safely and follow its maintenance procedures before inspection.

Application questions, answered
Can I replace an angular-contact bearing with a deep-groove bearing of the same size?
Not on dimensions alone. Axial capacity, stiffness, location and pairing differ. Confirm the entire arrangement against the pump drawing.
Are sealed bearings enough to stop pumped liquid?
No. Integral seals retain grease and limit some contamination; process-fluid containment is a separate pump-sealing function.
Should pump bearings be back-to-back or face-to-face?
The design determines the arrangement from stiffness, moment loading, alignment and thermal effects. Preserve the specified arrangement and matched-set requirements.
